Course FAQ

This is highly dependent on you and your partner. We’ve separated the tricks into sections based on difficulty level. If you are new to dancing I suggest starting with the Beginner Tricks! There is no “wrong” answer as the course is designed to give you great options no matter which direction you choose!

We recommend adding the tricks into the higher points of your music to match the feeling of the song. This could be at the chorus, or towards the end of your routine. Just as the music has highlights - think of the tricks as the highlights of your dance!

Since this is YOUR first dance, there are no rules, only personal preference! I always recommend ending your dance with a dip for a final wow moment, but other than that you can add as many or few as you’d like! If you like the look of the tricks go crazy, but if you want something more simple then stick to the basics.

No! We organized the course into 3 different levels for the regular tricks and added a separate category for those interested in learning lifts. Depending on your skill level, ability & personal preference you can choose any trick in any order!
